Are the wealthy class more likely to cut corners, cheat or be downright dishonest?
A Berkeley University study raised some eyebrows and immediately struck a chord when it concluded that the wealthy class is more likely to break the law, cheat, etc.
Those responsible for this study of behaviour standards among financial classes (wealthy and poor) in North America stated the very next morning after the study was published, they were inundated with quite angry, defensive feedback – disagreeing with the findings of the study.
It’s interesting to note that although this university is known to be ‘liberal’, this did not influence the outlook of the study. Those who participated in the 30 studies tabulated were from a wide cross-section of all classes and areas of our society.
The results were consistent within each individual study as well as between different studies.
This video about the results is quite eye-opening.
I was pretty shocked!
